Wholehearted Parents
Where great parents go for hope, advice, and inspiration!!!
Hello!  Welcome to the Wholehearted Parents website.  This site is a resource for parents.  When you come here, you can find:

Are we parenting experts?  Well, yes and no.  We are experts when it comes to our 3 great children.  But we do not know everything there is to know about raising great kids.  We think you are probably the same way--great at raising your kids.  But you don’t have all the answers, either.

(Find out more about us by clicking here.)

That is why we created this site.  Even though every parent is an expert on his or her child, we all need some help.  Maybe it is encouragement to try something new.  Or a new idea for dealing with an old problem.  Or just encouragement to keep going and not give up.  We try to pick resources that are helpful and positive.  Resources that respect your position as your family’s parenting expert.

While you are here, sign up for our free newsletter, also called Wholehearted Parents.  It comes out twice a month, and it always has some great tips and thoughts about parenting.  Find out more about the newsletter here.  Or, sign up with the form below.  Right now we’re giving everyone who signs up a free copy of the report, “The Right Way to Discipline Your Child.”

We also try to keep parents up-to-date on what's going on.  We link to articles that we find interesting on our Articles page.  Plus, we now have a Blog where we have more bits of useful stuff for parents.

Thanks for stopping by!  We are adding new material every day, so come back again soon.  If you have any questions, e-mail us.  We will get back to you quickly!

Thanks again!

Family is the nucleus of civilization.

Ariel and Will Durant

[The family's] resilience is not measured by wealth, muscle or efficiency but by creativity, unity, and hope. Cultivating these family strengths is critical to a thriving human community.

Ben Silliman

Having children makes you no more a parent than having a piano makes you a pianist.

Michael Levine
The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.

Theo. Hesburgh
Nothing you do for children is ever wasted.

Garrison Keillor
A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie.

Tenneva Jordan
To become a father is not difficult, but to be a father is.
